The Potenza S-03 Pole Position is a Max Performance "summer" tire
that was developed to meet the needs of the drivers of high
performance sports cars, coupes and sedans by bringing Bridgestone's
F1 tire technology and design to the streets while blending dry and
wet traction without abandoning comfort and wear. The Potenza S-03
Pole Position features Bridgestone's UNI-T AQ II Technology that uses
advanced compound and construction features to enhance and preserve
wet traction through the tire's life. The Potenza S-03 Pole Position
provides max performance that lasts.
On the outside, the Potenza S-03 Pole Position molds a Super Long
Link Carbon Black, Dual Layer Tread II compound into a directional
tread design that features notched shoulders, large "High Nose"
intermediate tread blocks (that are shaped like the side view of a
"high nose" F1 car) and a continuous center rib to provide quick dry
road response and handling. Super Slant 3D grooves help direct and
evacuate water through the tire to resist hydroplaning. The
continuous center rib also helps reduce noise while providing
constant road contact to enhance straight-line stability. Internally,
the Potenza S-03 Pole Position features Bridgestone's Computer
Optimized Component System which blends twin steel belts with
spiral-wrapped Jointless Cap & Layer Construction which stabilize the
tread area to enhance handling, high-speed capability and ride
quality while minimizing weight.
Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires combine black sidewall
styling with Bridgestone's F1 "High Nose" graphic and subtle black
letters reversed out of circumferential serrations.
They are W-, or Y-speed rated and available in 55-, 50-, 45-, 40-,
35- and 30-series sizes for 15" to 20" wheel diameters.

Pros:
Great grip for a non r-compound tire, good wet handeling
Cons:
Price, noisey, grip the lines in the road a bit
Very good tire. Used it for street and track. Got 6 track days out of my set along with sprited mountain road driving and hard street driving. Tire are pretty soft and very sticky for a great high performance street tire.
Didn't get very many miles out of the tires but I was using them for HPDE track day.
Would not use on any dirt roads and would not recommend for snow travel where you could encounter icey conditions. Light snow ok at low speeds (30mph and less, imo).

Pros:
great handeling on dry and wet pavement
Cons:
none
The size I went with is 225/45/17. This was my first upgrade and it made a huge difference. These tires are great on wet and dry pavement but are not designed for snow. If you are looking for a long lasting tire these are not for you but if you want an extremely sticky tire these are for you.

Pros:
Traction wet, and dry, quiet on daily drives
Cons:
Price
Love them on the 2.5RS lets me put more on the corners in SF\'s constant wheather pattern thing i love the most is when on long long drives i don\'t hear the tires rolling on the road at all and that is great, Price is too high but its worth it
TIP: don\'t run too hard on them alot or your gonna go back to RE92s after tread is gone no more fun

Pros:
Good combined dry and wet grip, super hard sidewall, superior wet traction for a sport tire
Cons:
Noise, tramlining, price, harshness, not a good daily driver tire, not practical
These tires came with my car (225/45/17) whe I bought it used. After driving on these for 3 months, I forgot how soft a ride my car can get until I put on my PZero Neros.
I don\'t see where these tires would be good for driving as I only either commute or go auto-x and the Falken Azenis Sports are much better tires for auto-x unless it\'s raining. These tires are insane at traction in the rain though, but I\'m sure many M+S ultra high performance tires would be able to easily come close and those are more practical.
Though, if you have spirited daily driving, or live in a wet area, I don\'t see the need for these.

Pros:
handling wet and dry, traction
Cons:
price
Absolutely love the tires, minus the price though. Superior handling in dry and wet. They are a little noisy though and they are "unforgiving" for daily driving. For spirited driving, everyone should try these once.
