With any FMIC it will have to be removed.

Pros:
maybe the sound
Cons:
lost power

It is a nice piece to look at, but its worthless when it comes to making power. I don't have any dyno graphs to back this up, but my car didn't seem as responsive after the install. I put the stock box back in and it felt like the car acclerated a little harder. I would just leave the stock air box in since a lot of the tunning companies have stock box's in there shop/demo cars.

no power gains, messes with MAF readings and AFR

This was my first mod. I did it without any research. I sold it as soon as I reflashed my ECU. Fortunately it is an easy mod to both put in, and take off.

Putting this retarded thing on was easy, but like i said it was a retarded thing to do. This thing is useless without an ECU reflash. It choked my WRX because i haven\'t saved up the necessary 650 dollars and headed on over to Vishnu to give my WRX some new configurations. Do not buy this unless your WRX has extra talents.

my friend had this on his 03\'wrx. first thing i noticed was how it sounded, like the car was broken or something. IMO doesnt like that good, sounds like cr@p, makes your car run a little leaner.
