Description:
Deadbolt Enterprises has
been experimenting with Subaru WRX turbochargers, the Mitsubishi
built TD04 unit since 2001. We began by testing different methods of
improving boost pressure, flow characteristics, and efficiency. We
began by making small changes, sending them to a flow-bench, getting
the results, and then attempting to improve further on the gains we
received. After over a year of testing, trying new things, and
several great strides and improvements we have developed a
tremendously successful precision system to modify the TD04 to its
fullest potential. We have data-logs showing positive manifold
pressure (boost) as early as 1583 RPM's! Unheard of on the standard
TD04. We have plots showing our Monster TD04 flowing almost 17 PSI
by just over 3000 RPM's.
We have now introduced a new member to our family! The TD05-16G!
The first truly bolt on 16G that was made to be a 16G! That's right,
this is not something pieced together with leftover parts, or simply
a 16G wheel in an inadequate compressor housing. This unit is a
factory Mitsubishi built bolt-on 16G. It has been widely popular in
foreign markets for some time now, but we have now secured a source
for these and have been granted a limited exclusive license to these
turbos in the U.S. READ HERE for more information!
Unlike other companies, we specialize in one thing, turbochargers.
Although we work primarily with Subaru units, we rebuild, modify,
clip, test, and inspect turbos for every manufacturer from Volvo to
Mitsubishi, IHI and even larger commercial grade units as well.
