Description: Higher durometer rubber compound. Hardened engine mounts provide more
effective power transfer and throttle response. Better resists torque
reactions which keeps engine movement to a minimum. Essential for
reliability under severe comptition abuse or high torque outputs. Use
in combination with transmission mount for maximum benefit.

Pros: Limits engine movement from torque reaction
Cons: Slightly increased noise and vibration

A time-consuming install if you do not have access to a vehicle lift. It can be done with simple hand tools although several of the bolts are hard to reach unless you have small hands.

Well worth the price to limit excess engine movement during acceleration and deceleration. There is slightly increased noise and vibration transmitted through the chassis but it is mainly noticeable on startup.

Shop around for best prices - they vary quite a bit from vendor to vendor. I purchased my STi engine and transmission mounts from RalliSpec by phone. Courteous folks are waiting to take your order.

I paid $86/pair for STi engine mounts but current price is slightly higher.

Pros: great feel
Cons: most will have to pay for install

Good unit if you want to give your car a more responsive feel. Does\'t actually do antying for power, but it make the throttle responce feel better since the motor can\'t rock back and forth as much. Most will have to pay for an install because it can be complicated, though.

Pros: better throttle response
Cons: difficult install

This is the way the car should feel from the factory. Throttle response is much better. There isn\'t so much of a lag when you ask for more. It is more direct. These along with the tranny mount should be in your first couple of mods.

Like everyone else said, save yourself some time and anguish and pay a shop to install these. Highly recommended.

Pros: Along with the tranny mount, great engine response.
Cons: More noise inside car..........Install is ridiculously difficult to do at home.

If you do it youself good luck catchin the bolts on the passenger side.
Well worth the time though.

Pros: engine doesnt move around so much anymore
Cons: noticable cabin vibration - although i kinda like it..

i was afraid to install these due to all the hard installation reviews but it actually wasnt bad at all as long as u have what u need..took me around 30 - 40 minutes with the right tools and friends help~ although i did use a car lift. jacking the engine up around 3 inches helps a whole lot. i would definately recommend this mod.

Pros: Nice and stiff
Cons: install is a PITA, more raod noise

If you push more power you will want these. Once you see the oem ones, you will wonder what took you so long to buy these.
