This is a very nice brace. Out of the box the fit and finish was clean and the product appeared nicely manufactured. Installation into my WRX wagon was a breeze, the only difficulty comes in the slight modification of the trim cover that covers the strut tower. I found that I was able to slightly flex, and not cut, the main trink trim surrounding the strut tower. After that, replace the trim cap and it out for a test drive.
In driving I found some increase in feel immediately. It felt almost as if I was getting a little more stiffness/feel through the seat out of the rear on the car. I think that the biggest benifit here would be the addition of a stiffer sway bar too. The combination of those two mods would really compliment each other in the rear end of the wagon.... but that review is for another day.

MmMmMmm Cusco. Yes i do love it. The front bar like has been said before is basically just an advertisement for them, and the rear bar didn't make that much difference to the handling either. But if pushed hard enough these bars will definitely keep unwanted flex away. The blue and aluminum finish look delicious and the optional trunk V brace will really make it almost impossible to flex those towers in the rear. All in all they aren't really a performance mod unless you're trying to eek those last few bits of slop out of a well sorted suspension. But these JDM goodies will surely make you happy every time you pop your hood or trunk.

Who know if it really does anything - I put it in at the same time as the rear swaybar - but it sure looks awesome in the back of my wagon.
From what I've seen it fits better in a wagon than the Whiteline made for the wagon.
You only have to trim the interior carpet caps above the strut towers not the side carpet.

I'm not really sure what kind of improvements just the rear strut tower brace did since I added the front brace and a rear sway bar on my 2.5RS coupe. The installation was a pain because I had to pull out the rear seat and seatbelts to intall it. The car handles a lot better after I intalled it.

I really didnt notice any sort of handleing improvement at all with it. It does however look nice in the back of my wagon 
The one pain about this is as previously stated, is the modification to the trim panel in the trunk. It took me longer to do that than anything else. Now all the stupid thing does it make noise when it rubs up against the trim panels!

i installed this and the V brace at the same time.
it feels a little bit stiffer, but that could just be my imagination too.
installation wasn\'t too bad, i didnt use instructions and kind of figured it out myself.
i think the best part is how much it sets the trunk off, especially if you have custom audio equiptment to show off

before i bought this people were telling me how its not really gonna do much on a wrx~ but when i installed it and torqued down the bolts tight, the car really felt a lot tighter on turns and to me was very noticable~ especially on ~30+mph turns
i wish the bar was made stronger and less bendy though. paid 75 bucks~ cant complain

I am really impressed with Cusco products, I have the front O/S strut bar, Type 2 lower arm bar, 3-point rear strut bar and Type 1 rear lower arm bar, my car is full on stiff as! cannot knock any Cusco parts at all quality build, looks are great and they are reasonable in price and the fit is so easy, only two holes need to be drilled in the boot floor for the 3-point rear strut brace anything else bolts straight on

Front Fitment...needed to fabricate a bracket...

Still need to install the rear bar...poor planning on my part when installing my amplifier and Power Bus...right in the way of the strutbar...so can\'t really comment on the performance...
The only problem with the install was the front bar and the AC line...luckily, my friend\'s (Junior STI and Caterpil) OS came with a relocation bracket for the AC line...we fabricated an exact bracket and it is simply awesome!. Apprently, the \"US Only\" bars come with this bracket...ask for it when you purchase it.
EDIT: Relocated the Amp and Bus...the rear strut bar together with the front, Perrin rear sway bar and Prodrive springs is the ticket to a great handling car...WOW is all I can say!
