The header is stainless steel with a built in heat shield. The header does require a UPPIPE. Sure to produce plenty of power!

Pros:
Nice Fit and Finish...
Cons:
heatshields tend to come loose and rattle
The installer "Suby Specialties" could not stop raving about the quality of the header...no fitment issues and very nice construction...plus heatshields to boot ( even though I ended up welding the shields on because they rattles to much )

Pros:
Superb quality. Great performance gains. Heatsheilds.
Cons:
Too pretty.
I got one of these bad boys a while back when I had my VF22 on the car. The turbo spool up was improved by a lot. The peak power was also imporved. The manifold has an expandablle flex joint in the middle allowing you to adjust it for better fit on cars with diff thickness headgasgets. This is a 4-2-1 design, so if you are looking a nice low-mid powerband improvement, this is the manifold for you.

Pros:
great fit and finish; nice piping design as a 4-2-1; proven results with nice gains
Cons:
heatshield broke off a couple of times; had to reweld it to the manifold (-1 on rating)
gave nice low end power and torque. this manifold was a great investment and would definitely do it again if i found i ran into another great deal on this header. don\'t believe everyhting you read about online regarding the negative aspects of aftermarket headers. this header made me a true believer of mod that defintely works. if you are going to invest in headers make sure its of a name brand (i.e. cusco).
