We have tested these clutches in high horsepower cars, street driving cars, and track racing cars. Exedy clutches are made in Japan and are 100% new, not rebuilt or retooled units such as some other well-known companies products are. Exedy Sport Clutch
Exedy Sport Clutch: Provides 27% more clamping power than stock. This is the same clutch used on 1998 and newer STi models from the factory. Includes throw out bearing. Does not include flywheel.
Exedy Hyper Single Plate Clutch
This is a new generation clutch set for up to 400 HP. High torque can be accomodated and the weight is specially lightened to lower the inertia for the clutch disc. Same as the Cusco single plate clutch/flwheel combo (Cusco clutches are made by Exedy). This clutch uses a sprung hub 6 puck cerametallic disc, and the pressure plate features 1200 kg clamping force. Pedal feel is excellent. Clutch engagement is shudder free, though it is a bit on the grabby side. Clutch can be slipped, so no busted trannies if driven correctly! Includes flywheel. Does not include throw out bearing.
Exedy Hyper Twin Plate Clutch
Dual sprung hub 6 puck ceramettallic disks which will easily support 500 crank lb/feet of torque. The twin plate clutch developed for motor sport is designed for higher torque, while at the same time featuring a reasonably light touch on the pedal control. The twin plate clutch boasts the substantial torque capacity and sensitive response called for in high-performance sports cars. In addition, for drivers looking for an even higher torque, specialised hard settings are available. Two separate settings allow the driver to select the type that matches his or her individual preference. The twin plate clutch used in Daikin clutches manufactured by EXEDY Corporation are available in both push and pull type models. Does not include throw out bearing. Includes flywheel

Pros:
Grabs much better than stock, but also keeps daily drivability in mind.
Cons:
None.
I had problems with an ACT HD Street clutch, so I decided to tear it out and get the Exedy.
I am extremely happy with the construction and precision that went into building it.
The clutch is great at the track and on the street, I can take it to Laguna and such, and the next day be in bumper to bumper, no problems.

Ive had one problems. Its just I cant get into second gear for like 10min. Usually happens when im running high rpms and shifting allot. In my case.. all the ****ing time.. other then that its good.
