Pros: shorter shift
Cons: everything else

Yes, it shortens the shift throw. It also increases shift effort correspondingly, and feels vague. Shifts are NOT crisp and authoritative like one would expect from a short shifter. It\'s still on my car simply out of guilt for flushing 75 bucks.

Pros: retains stock shift arm, adjustable
Cons: not as good as Kartboy

Cheap. Super easy to install. But is retains the stock shift arm. This is good for git, and reduction in vibration through the shaft, but it doesn\'t replace the nylon ball with a steel one like the kartboy. Just spring the extra $10 on the Kartboy, you\'ll be glad you did.

Pros: Fully adjustable, easy to install.
Cons: ???

This piece is awesome. I had a Kartboy, but wanted to retain stock height. I bought the Perrin and am selling the Kartboy. You really need to get the stiffer (Kartboy or other)bushings. I think that might be the problem with the previous reviewers setup.

I like that you get to keep the stock shifter height and the plastic ball which seems to reduce vibrations felt through the shifter.

Super easy install was also a plus. Just turn the shifter around and slide the Perrin on. Test for clearance and you are done.

Pros: Retains stock shift lever, very easy to install
Cons: Doesn\\\'t shorten shifter height

I had this only for a day before i sent it back for a different one. It does shorten the throw, but it doesn\'t shorten the height.
