The Whiteline ALK is a very underestimated mofication. The stock WRX suffers from significant lift and dive under acceleration and even shifting.
When you feel the front of your WRX lift up when you step on the gas pedel and in between shifts, you are experiencing lift and it effects your WRX adversely for a number of different reasons. First, lift shifts the balance of the cars weight backwards, removing tracking from the front wheels during hard launches and when shifting in corners.
Additionally raising the nose of the vehicle has negative aerodynamic effect with both slow the vehicle down and make cornering more difficult.

Pros:
Best bang for your buck suspension
Cons:
Increased NVH
I absolutely love the ALK, best bang for your buck, suspension wise, just makes the car feel totally different, adds positvie castor, improved turn in, greater speed exiting a turn.
As expected NVH (Noise Vibrations Harshness) is incresed, bumps tend to make a little more noise and be a little jarring, but aboslutely tollerable.

Pros:
awesome
Cons:
looks like it might strain control arms.
awesome.
fun install....... used on my sti. just makes the car feel and handle better.
watch the bushing in the mounts when you install and make sure they don\'t spin when you connect it to the arm.

Pros:
Easy install, immediate improvements in drivability, although you won\'t realize a thing in daily driving
Cons:
Only good for circuit/autox racing. You won\'t feel any effects during the other 99% of the time you drive your car.
Ditto to what B_drift says above. Also, this may be my imagination, but even though they are called anti-LIFT, I swear during drag racing that my front end comes up more than it did before the installation of the ALK.
I know that the intent of this apparatus is to add more control to the front end during after-corner acceleration, but it does seem ironic that my front end now lifts more. Again, this could just be my addled imagination.

Pros:
Stiffer front end feel and better cornering
Cons:
Slightly harsher ride (I have the sport bushings) but I don\\\'t notice it anymore
This took about and hour to install in my friends garage. My first impression was a bit harsher ride and more control with the front end along with less body roll, yet I do have some other suspension stuff too. I don\'t notice the ALK too much anymore I\'m really used to it, but it\'s definetly a good mod that should be done.
