Pros: Nice enought
Cons: Not too bright about Subarus

I've dealt with their parts department a few times and they just can't seem to find parts without me pointing them in the right direction or helping them navigate the parts catalog.

Otherwise though, their service dept is courteous. When I was there however, their service bay had about 90% VWs *couhg*.

As for sales, I've heard mediocre to good stories about their sales department... but nothing bad.

Pros: Friendly, not pushy, helpful
Cons: Could not match or beat price.

I was going to buy from Ron Price. The sales man was friendly and knowledgable. He never bothered me with phone solicitations and answer my questions promptly.

I was prepared to buy from them, but they could not beat or match the price from Santa Cruz. I don't know why, but my experience was very pleasant.

They seemed to be more of a VW dealer, or that is what it seemed to me. More people looking a VWs then Subys.

Pros: All warranty work done, closest to my home
Cons: Typical dealer bull

I\'ve taken all my warranty work here and they\'ve always come through for me, however sometimes grudgingly so. They are a typical dealership that wants to be your best friend when you want to buy a car but treats you like dirt when you have problems or - god forbid - want to buy a part from them.

Pros: Great if you deal with Charles Goldfrit
Cons: service dept. dented my side sills.

My rating would be higher if the Service Dept. didn\'t mess up my car. I went in having done my homework: knowing invoice, what other dealers were willing to give me, etc. Charles knew this and offered me a fair price. Less than a month later I had my special order wagon.

I will not go to their service department again. They dropped my seat on to my doors sill. Still there, I guess it give the car character.

Pros: Nice during test drive
Cons: Too much hassle and BS during negotiations

The buying experience is good, but once you start negotiations, the BS meter comes out in full effect with pushy managers (when they join in on the negotiations).

Pros: Near San-Andreas Fault. Could be destroyed by earthquake.
Cons: Very slow. Difficult to get warranty work done.

I brought my car in for a shuddering, stalling engine. They tried to charge me for warranty work, and didn\'t even begin fixing it until a week-and-a-half after I brought it in. It took them over three weeks to fix it. Service advisor was very difficult to get ahold of, and NEVER returned my calls until I complained to Subaru of America. My car was at Ron Price for a full week before anyone talked to me about it. If I wouldn\'t have called them every three or four days, my car would have been parked in the corner of the lot until the end of eternity.
