Pros:

Looks nice, legal in California
Cons:
Gets some condensation
I think these clear sidemarkers really clean up the look of the car, especailly for the white and black Imprezas. Its a bit unnerving to pop the stock units out, but with a bit of elbow grease and paint-safe leverage, they come out easily (which makes you wonder about potential theft). They pop right in. They fit pretty well, but its not as exact as the original unit. Still, nothing at all noticeable.
While washing them I have noticed condensation well up inside.
In California front turn signals may be white or orange, so these are legal. The California Vehicle Code states:
24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the froint and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.
I do, however, have orange bulbs inside. You can pick these up from any dealership or Kragen, etc.

Looks different

Cons:

Looks illegal

The installation is pretty easy but the payoff is not that great. If you like the look, go for it. They were not for me and I enjoy the look of the stock turn signals just fine. I think these are a better upgrade than carbon fiber side markers, but that\'s just my opinion.

Pros:

looks good on silver WRX
Cons:
they leak and dont fit perfect

If you are extremely picky like I am you wont be happy with fitment and you might want to seal them with some silicone if you dont want them to fill up with water. If they were water proof and fit like the factory sidemarkers I would love them but they dont.

Pros:

It is clear and matches my other stuff
Cons:

Fitment is not the greatest
I had to use some clear silicone sealant to make it fit snugly. No big deal.
I also put extra sealant all around any seams because of condensation that other guys are getting.

Looks great, cheap, no leaks so far
Cons:

Fitment isn't perfect, but not that bad

Bought these as soon as I got my WRX because the previous owner had busted the OEM side marker. I have been very happy with them, and have had no problems with condensation or leaks (unlike my taillights). Just make sure you put an orange bulb in them to keep it legal.
