The guys at Gruppe-S are the best! They really treat you well and go to great lengths to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase and/or install. The shop is a very friendly atmosphere. And the prices, well, they just can't be beat. Shops closer to me all refer me to Gruppe-S for Subaru parts.
I've bought over 3/4s of all my aftermarket parts from Gruppe-S for my WRX and I've never hard a problem.

I've mainly dealt with Max. When I bought my turbo from him, it was the best deal I'd seen at the time and I had researched very extensively. Also, here in Hawaii, you become used to terrible shipping times as well as rates. I ordered the turbo on Friday and it was at my door on Tuesday morning. There have been times when Max has shipped my product without even charging me shipping...he must've lived here on the islands before.

I like the underground feel of their shop, definitely a good vendor who tries to keep costs down for the consumer. If you need a JDM engine part they are the ones to talk to.

The prices simply can\'t be beat and they deliver what they say they will. The only issue I had was that some of my parts got \"lost\" in in transit. An entire helix dp slipped out of the box on the way to my house. Mike at Gruppe-S sent me out a replacement the next day. Great service.

I saw a classified ad right here on i-Club advertising a pair of STi (GD) aluminum control arm take-offs for an installed price of $375. I set up an appointment for the installation via PM. I was the first appointment of the day and they guys arrived promptly at the shop and soon my car was up on the lift.
Mike at Gruppe-S went way more than that \'extra mile\' to provide me with nothing short fantastic customer service. There was a slight incompatibility with the WRX control arms but a small factory sleeve (or spacer) took care of that. Mike took the time to show me the control arms and where the problem area was. Because of the extra waiting time (I couldn\'t drop the car off), Mike was kind enough to offer to absorb the cost of the sleeves.
I have no reservations at all about recommending Gruppe-S for both parts and service for your Subaru needs. Customer satisfaction is a high priority.

Mike spent alot of time with me, explaing things i didnt know and taking his time to get the right tune for my shiny new legacy gt. I got awesome results and a bad ass tune that has never pinged or had any issues to date. Mike and crew have never done me wrong, in all my dealings with them. Honest, reliable, and he looks good in a wig.
A+ for gruppe-s from parts prices to english tuners!

I took my stock WRX in for a re-flash, a custom tune and new rear sway bar and it has completely transformed my car. The reflash makes it boost earlier and then maintain a lot stronger boost at the top end, it really is a lot quicker, and the dyno gave me an extra 25ish BHP. The lead tuner, Mike, talked me through exactly what he was doing and even spared me the time to discuss future mods...he came highly recommended and I see why. As for the new rear sway bar, it has had a dramatic effect on what was already a fantastic handling car (in my humble opinion). The understeer on the limit has been all but removed and the whole car handle so much sharper.
Why Subaru don\'t do these 2 things straight from the factory I\'m not sure, but I would recommend that WRX Noobs like me make them there first mods.
