Catless uppipe as found standard on the STi models comes with the flex section just like the WRX stock pipe- does not contain an EGT bung. Only a discerning eye will be able to distinguish this uppipe from the one found stock on the Impreza WRX.

Pros:
Looks stock except for the resistor in the harness, cast iron holds heat better, stock fit, heat shields
Cons:
Controversy on how the lack of sensor affects my OL CL fueling in a MY2004.
This STi uppipe is a solid product. Fits like stock, because it is! I've been happy with the spool up. Installed the uppipe at the same time as my Stromung dp. I installed with new gaskets, its been 500 mi and no leaks. Little better fuel mileage. I'm a little bit worried about the OL/CL controversy with the 2004 when you remove the o2 sensor from the uppipe, but i shouldn't have any problems when I get engine management.

Pros:
Looks totally OEM
Cons:
rusts
Since it is OEM you know the fit is perfect. It has a flex section and looks totally stock for those pesky California visual smog checks. Downside is that the unit is heavy and has a tendance to rust a bit on the flange. I would recommend it for the stock look alone.
