The AVS ES100 radial is Yokohama’s Ultra High Performance Summer tire designed to deliver ultra high performance looks and handling to the drivers of sports cars, coupes and sedans. The AVS in the AVS ES100 radial's name identifies that this tire is a member of Yokohama's Advanced Vehicle System flagship family of performance tires.
On the outside, the AVS ES100 features a high-tech silica tread compound molded into a directional tread design with long tread blocks and a continuous center rib to provide traction, responsive handling, and high-speed stability. Its two, wide circumferential center channels and “high angle” lateral tread grooves effectively pump water to the sides of the tire’s footprint to enhance wet traction and minimize hydroplaning. Internally, the AVS ES100 features twin steel belts reinforced by jointless, wrapped nylon stabilizing the tread area to elevate handling and high-speed capability while minimizing weight. The AVS ES100 radial’s polyester cord body and steel wire-reinforced sidewalls help blend ride quality with lateral stability.
Yokohama AVS ES100 tires feature black letter styling and are available in 60-, 55-, 50-, 45-, 40-, and 35-series; H-, V- or W-speed rated sizes for 14" to 18" wheel diameters.

Pros:
Good predictability, decent wear, nice square look
Cons:
None
These aren't ultra sticky, but if you aren't out for the cheap tire-per-day autocross quickie, these are a great tire for the price.
I find them to be VERY predictable in dry and (somewhat) wet conditions. I took them to Thunder hill and after 4 sessions it rained before the 5th session (sometimes I just get lucky! ). On the damp road I was passing everyone up with AWD Yoks!... heh that Cobra driver was just scratching his head!.
They're great on the street too and deal well with San Francisco's poorly kept u streets. Their not too bad in the noise and bump transfer, but I've had better tires in that regard. Winter hasn't set in yet, so I can't comment on heavy rain performance, but I'll get back later on that.
Over all I'm very happy, and unless I win Lotto so I can afford RE730s, I'll get the ES100s again

They\'re not a bad tire for summer and small amounts of rain. You can get these almost anywhere.
Would reccomend this tire if you want quality and cost

Pros:
Handling, good sidewalls, good wheel protection
Cons:
no pure negatives
I didn\'t have these that long so i can\'t give the deepest review.
But I did think they handled quite well.
Good in water, not great.
I\'d say these are a great choice for the price. Great daily driver performance tire. Wouldn\'t select it for a track tire or a daily driver/track tire.
i\'d put it in the range of like the Toyo Fz4.
Just a good solid performance tire.

Pros:
imo best bang tire for the buck!
Cons:
mine didnt last long, not the stickiest tire
i have 235/40/17. mine lasted less than a year~ maybe its the way i drive and the mucho hard turns i take?
this tire was definately a great improvment over stock and (to me) really sticky and helped me on turns, but of course this is the only tire ive tried so far after stock.

I got these tires on my tarmacs they are good tires for everyday driving. but once you start learning how to drive and push the car the tires start squeling a lot and leaves you wanting better tires.

Pros:
Cheap, great wet handling, good looks
Cons:
Cheap, lots of squeal
For every day driving, the AVS ES100 is an awesome tire. but when you\'re rolling on the throttle in a tight turn, you hear squeal and you get a little loose. One tire in my set has some ridges in it causing a hum. So quality is pretty good, but they do have mismolded tires sneak through.

Pros:
Sticky enough, predictable grip
Cons:
Not super sticky, alittle noisy
Great tire, very predictable in dry conditions (I haven\'t driven in the rain yet). They\'re not SUPER sticky though, so I might go with a different tire next time. They could also be quieter, but they\'re not as loud as my last Parada Spec 2\'s (ofcourse, those were on 18\'s, these are on 17\'s). Still decent IMO. They say they\'re reasonably priced, too. These came on my Rotas I got for a killer price on i-club.
EDIT=These tires aren\'t noisy at freeway speeds, only really noisy at low speed.
