The Tein High Tech should not be confused with the H-Tech springs. Theese are supposed to be closer to the S-Techs which I believe are more of a compromise between sport performance and comfortable ride. Tein promises a 20mm/30mm drop F/R respectively.

Pros:
Good handling
Cons:
Certainly not a progressive feel. Drops more than advertised
The rear drops far more than 30mm. Albeit, I do run 235/45 (on 17x8 wheels) series tires but I cannot even get 1 finger between the tire and the rim. Tein swears up and down that the drop should not have been as drastic. These are JDM so its not a question of too new to market. Who knows? I'm sure my install was correct.
The good side here is that, while the ride is somewhat rough, I love how they handle. With my 22mm rear sway bar the car handled beautifully at Thunder hill. It feels wonderfully neutral with this setup.
So their not very progressive, but they do handle well.

Pros:
Not too stiff
Cons:
none
Good spring. I like how it feels, not to soft, not to stiff. Exponentially better than stock. The only gripe I have is the instruction manual. It\'s only in Japanese!

Pros:
Right amount of drop without the rice
Cons:
None
What I like most about them is it doesn\'t lower your car too much. The ride is pretty good, not too stiff and diffenately better than stock. They\'re the same gold color as the STI BBS wheels ;P.
