if u dont like the long throw of your stock shifter then this is for you. I bent up the plate with a wrench that it hits in fist gear, and its as smooth as stock. The next batch wont need this to be done.

this short shifter is what you want for shorter throws, sits slightly lower than the oem stock one. about 1 1/2 inches lower. noticable shorter shifts, the shifts also has a more solid feel to it. no vibration or anything on shifter itself. good product from SD. Thanks to gagan for helping me with install also. Took only 15 minutes to take out the old one and pop this one in. Thanks!

I bought my short shifter from a BAIC member. Installation was easy and simple. It was just a simple as plug and play. Every time I drive my car, I notice the reduction in shifts. I recommend this product because its cheap and effective.

Basically the same as a Kartboy, but cheaper... how can you go wrong? Only thing in question, I suppose is build quality and long term reliability issues since it\'s not a \"name brand\" but I\'ve not heard of any problems.

I\'ve had the Kartboy before and to be honest, they both are pretty much the same. This one is much cheaper and worth it IMO! The throw is much shorter and feels awesome, especially with bushings! A must have to replace the long throw stock shifter.
