Pros:
Great adjustability, good price and notchy
Cons:
Slight rattle or hum at higher RPMs
The short shifter installed easily and made a big difference on the lenght of the shifter throw. Along with the shifter bushings it made the shifting very notchy and exact. There is no question about what gear you are in or what gear you are going into.

Pros:
Notchy gear feel, very short throws
Cons:

Wish I had more gears to play with
After a minor car modification, I was able to get less than 3 inches of throw from 1st to 2nd ect gears. The advantages of a double adjustable SS is way cool.

I love the way this shifter works. You can adjust the height anyway you like. I think you\'ll have to cut the metal surrounding plate for any reasonable short shifting height, but this isn\'t hard to do. I would also suggest getting the bushing, very very nice feel during shifts. I know I didn\'t make my car faster, but the car drives more aggressively now which is a great feeling. This is a top notch sifter.

Pros:

Reduced height and throw length
Cons:

Only changes the lever; NVH increase; random problems
This was coupled with Cobb bushings. After installation, immediately noticed a massive increase in NVH; specifically drivetrain noise. For a while, I was worried that it was not installed properly. Now, I am having issues with too much play and squealing noise when I'm in fifth gear (STI). Not recommended. If I could do it again I would get the STI-option shifter, and just upgrade ALL possible associated bushings as well as the tranny mount. Only thing I appreciate is the height reduction of the lever.
