Description: The standard 2002 WRX injector is specified as 380cc, whilst the STI part is 500cc flow rate. Since the parts are from the same manufacturer, it can be assumed that the STI part will flow around 30% more fuel for a given opening time and fuel pressure. As well as just swapping the mechanical parts, the ECU must be recalibrated to account for the mechanical change. The ECU must be set to calculate injector opening times based on the higher flow rate injectors. For example, if the new injectors are of twice the flow rate of the originals, then the ECU need only open the injectors for approximately half the period, in order to deliver the same volume of fuel.

Pros: a must have for high horsepower gain. more fuel means more power!
Cons: fuel economy...

These injectors are a-must-have if you want to run bigger turbocharger on your WRX! Upgrading stock fuel rails and fuel pump is recommended as well as ECU recalibration or aftermarket standalone ECU!

Pros: Drop in replacement, good flow
Cons: All WRX injectors are a PITA to change

Drop in replacement and a must for bigger turbos. The stock ECU will eventually adapt to the injectors, but you need engine management ot really take advantage. They are a pain to install, but definitely worth it since they support huge gains.

Pros: direct fit, more fuel
Cons: none

Not big enough if you want anything bigger than a vf34 as a turbo.

Pros: they do their job!!!
Cons: PITA to get to it. was told dont have to put back that green bracket.

they are a pain to get to.. make sure to lube them up before installing them... we accidently cross-threaded my fuel rail bolt to hold down the injectors.. be carefull..

Pros: gives enough fuel for larger turbo applications, easy to come by
Cons: MPG went out the door :( ...i needed a pro to install them for me.

i had a knowledgable mechanic install them for me...this is recommended for ppl who dont know what they\'re doing

other than that they\'re great! does the job perfectly. less MPG is totally worth it for more power...perfect when combo\'d w/ any vf turbo, fuel pump, and EM.
