Description: With a similar flow rate and muffler can to the PE systems, the EVO's new offset tip design improves road clearance in most models. Another benefit is the appearance of a small muffler on the car, but still allows for excellent sound suppression. The newly added embossed GReddy logos on both the SUS tip and can will set the system apart from the rest.

Pros: Great sound and look
Cons: None

In the lower RPM's it sounds stock then once you pass 4,000 RPM's you know you are on to something good ! I installed myself and accidentally bent a heat shield resulting in a slight rattle, easy fix and works great now. Looks great, and everyone can tell when you are coming !

EDIT: after looking at my reciept my prices were as such.
Catback: 599.99
Install: (crappy job) 80.00
Tax: 49.42 . . . Total 728.42

Pros: Power, low-profile sound
Cons: none

Stating that the power and quietness are positive aspects say it all. I've read the comparison article in about how the power matches up to other systems and I can't disagree. Through my upgrades, the Evo exhaust system never gave me any problems, and after the car became a stage 4, the exhaust was a significant contributor to breaking into the 12 second range.

Pros: Nice fit, looks clean, adds a nice growl to your Rex
Cons: Mine has a "whistle" at 60mph? , Too quiet for me.

This was a great buy. I enjoy it far more than stock and it is a nice compromise when you have a wife. It is barely noticable to me but other comment on whether my car is stock or not. Outside the car it is louder nad does turn heads but not too racy. The "whistle" is not from it rubbing or leaking so i don't know what that is about.
If you want a quiet muffler that adds a little growl is is perfect but i wish i had gone louder. i will probably kick myself for sayingf that when i am driving for 4 hours to LA.

Pros: nice rumbly exhaust thats not too lout at idle
Cons: none

i helped my friend install this on his 2.5rs, and it sounds nice. it was a rumbly sound at idle, and the higher the rpms, the louder it is. it sounds really nice and looks great.

Pros: Great sound, great looks
Cons: NONE

This exhaust was exactly what I was looking for. Just a bit louder than the stock exhaust, with a much deeper rumble. Brings out the boxer idle nicely! Barely noticable at idle, and even at WOT not very loud in the cockpit. Passed the wife test with flying colors! And it looks great under the bumper to boot.

Pros: Nice quite afermarket cat-back
Cons:

I love this exhaust. I wanted something that wasn\'t too loud and didn\'t get me any unwanted attention from the cops or the local \"ricers\".

Pros: Good sound and looks very nice
Cons:

I love this exhaust system. I was looking for something with a deeper meaner sound and I found it. Not too loud and not too silent. Was easy to install on my 04 STi. I would only get rid of it if I was going to a Turboback. I got this used and no problems with it at all.

Pros: Quiet, stylish, and canister is hidden nicely
Cons: Might be too quiet for some people

Looks and sounds great. Has a very deep rumble to it, although it is not loud. Great exhaust to have. Cops won\'t bother you with this exhaust, even if you\'re catless. It\'s only slightly louder catless. Another good thing about this exhaust is that the canister sits very high up in the bumper, so it can\'t be seen much.

Pros: Good quality
Cons:

Ive had my Greddy EVO 2 exhaust on my car for about 1,000 miles now and love it. Notcible difference in power and the sound is deep and aggressive.

Pros: good sound
Cons: big

I have this on my 2000 2.5RS. I\'m happy with the appearance and it\'s looks but it scrapes sometimes due to it\'s size.

Pros: great power 3 in, quiet
Cons: big ass opening and can

i really liked it, it sounded so mean, and was a great performer, i sold it only because it had the ricey looking can, i didnt need all the police attention, even if it was quiet

Pros: Great exhaust for the money..
Cons:

I purchased this cat back used from a friend and it was the best $300.00 I spent on the car. I installed it on my 04 STI took me about 30 min. Build quality is perfect, noise lpassed the wife test. Had a Greddy SP on a former car and loved it. Greddy puts out some quality products...Sound is not too loud and not too quite gains were some what noticable..

Pros: quiet, noticable power gain, very nice looking. perfect fit.
Cons: Not as loud as I thought it would be

I don\'t have the Evo.. I have the Evo2 but it\'s not on the list. Anyway, It\'s a great exhaust. I DID notice some power gains with it. I placed it on my stock 04 WRB... (maybe the power gain came from the Blue of the car hehe) it\'s very quiet so it\'s good for the cops and for everyone. Very Shiny, light, and sexy!

Get one! it\'s good stuff.

Pros: Great mellow Tone
Cons: Fit

Great sound not too Ricey! I had to hit the mid pipe with a tourch and dimple it to clear the back of the seatbelt bolt. I will be buying this Cat back for my new STi

Pros: quiet, nice tuck under the bumper
Cons: quiet, heavy as stock

unlike my hks catback, i had this on for a longggg time and never got hassled by cops for it even though theyr always looking at it. i felt this catback was a little bit on the restrictive side compared to the hks(maybe its just me).

Pros: Everything
Cons: None

It looks great, has a nice low pwerful rumble to it...not obnoxious, but enough that you notice it...the power increase was great and the install went quick

Pros: Sounds great...nice hp gains...looks really nice
Cons: none

i love this catback. it sounds awesome. it might be to quiet for some people but not me at all. and it doesnt hang low under the bumper like some of the other mellon shooters ive seen. i paid $558.00 shipped brand new for it. put it on my self with the help of my friend in 25 minutes. i love this exhaust and would def buy it again for the third time. my first car was a 00 Si and i had the evo2 on it and it sounded great. oh yea cops dont really mind it

Pros: quiet exhaust
Cons: big ricer tip, fitment sucked for me

I have the greddy evo2. this exhaust sounds stock on idle on my sti and it has a lil louder growl when on throttle. I do not like how the tip looks and also i have some fitment issues. But i really do enjoy the sound of the exhaust.

Pros: Improved throttle response
Cons: Louder boxer rumble sound

I got EVO2. The part number was for STi, not for WRX, however, no fitment issue. The throttle response was noticeably improved over stock, but the sound was little louder than my expectation.

Pros: It\'s quieter so Cops don\'t harass you. Quality design, larger piping than stock.
Cons: 2 resonators = restrictive

It\'s a good exhaust. It may be a tad restrictive but the larger diameter than stock piping cancels that out.

Good for folks that don\'t like to get pulled over and don\'t like their significant other/parents to hear them come home ha ha ha!

I recommend hitting the hanger mounts with primer and paint to guard against rust.

Pros: Nice construction, light, easy installation, quiet
Cons: pricy

In all my previous cars i have been able to drive by the sound of the engine or exhaust note (typically N/A vehicles). when i purchased my STi i kept hitting the rev limiter without knowing where in the power band i was. I\'ve been through some pretty loud exhausts and wanted something that was very streetable and low in droning. Greddy has always been that way for me, in addition it meets CHP sound requirements.

Install was very simple...finished in 30mins. First start was unimpressive but i no longer had a problem with the rev limiter (problem solved). About a day or two afterwards the sound became increasingly better (must\'ve needed a break in). I would highly recommend for a daily driven vehicle.

Pros: Sounds great, quality
Cons: none

I had the Evo 2, and it was a great exhaust. This exhaust is not slanted and although the tip is somewhat large, its looks great. With a uppipe and downpipe this exhaust has a great sounds without being too loud. I would reccomend this product to anyone.

Pros: Loud but not too loud
Cons: None

I love the nice deep growl when you hit the gas. Also its not that loud where you would get unwanted attention.

Pros: sound and ground clearance
Cons: n/a

My GF at the time bought a chinese knock off of this EVO2 "stealth" catback exhaust system on ebay. I love the sound on this. Not too loud and has a great deep rumble to it. A plus for this design is that it can clear most ground clearance compared to others that sit real low.
