Cooler thermostat will open sooner than your OEM one allowing your radiator to start working sooner and provide better cooling. Your water temperature will be 5-10 degrees C lower that with stock thermostat.

Longer warm up times during very cold starts
This thermo really works. It drops right in and will open almost 10 degrees sooner than the stock unit. My fully built high-power motor has no cooling problems at all. Of course, not just because of this item, but it sure does help.
