Description: .....The Perrin oil catch can kit will remove and store all waste oil vapor expelled by your turbo charged motor. Installation is quick and easy.

.....Lengthen the life of your turbo and increase the thermal efficiency of your intercooler.

.....Dress up your engine bay. An excellent compliment to both the intake and radiator hose kits.

.....Turbo charged engines are prone to accumulation of an oil sludge mixture forming inside the intake tract. This is a result of crankcase pressure and inefficient combustion. While this condition is normal it is a hindrance to making higher horsepower and increasing engine longevity.

....Oil vapor is forced out of the cylinder head and redirected through vacuum hoses into the intake stream. The oil vapor condenses onto surfaces within the intake system. This is especially prominent in the intercooler core.

The Perrin Performance catch can will hold this oily byproduct and remove it from suspension in the intake air stream. Horsepower is increased by eliminating the engines current requirement to try and reburn this relatively noncombustible oil. Engine longevity is lengthen due to this oil not having the ability to gum up the valve train, turbo charger, and various other moving parts and sensors. Intercooler efficiency is also increased. The thin film of oil coating the inside of the intercooler will insulate the air to air exchange and lower the ability of the intercooler to cool the intake air charge.

Easy to clean, empty and maintain. A built in fluid level gauge will visually show when to empty the catch can.

Catch can body is constructed from 3 ply high temperature silicone. Included vacuum hoses are made from extruded silicone composite and color matched to . All hose connectors are constructed of fiberglass reinforced ABS plastic and are rated to over 400 degrees.

Kit Includes:

Silicone body
Machined billet top and bottom
High quality connectors
Oil fill gauge
Color matched silicone hose

AVAIABLE IN 3 COLORS, GLOSSY RED, BLACK, AND BLUE

Pros: Well-made, easy install on an '04, lots of bling bling
Cons: Pricey

All commercial oil catch cans are too expensive, including this one. However, I wanted red for my red WRX and this one just looks so cool!

Purchased from World One Perfomance and it came with illustrated instructions. Easy to install if you have a 2004 WRX. Apparently the headlight backing causes some troubles on earlier car models.

Very well-made!

Pros: catches oil, dresses up engine bay
Cons: doesnt catch all the oil

the mounting location for this is a little hard to reach
the illustrations in the instructions are horrible
even with the catch can oil is still going into the intake from the crank case, this only catches from the heads
i ended up moving it against the firewall and redoing all the plumbing so it catches the crank and heads

Pros: looks great
Cons: paint to install near headlight

Install only took about 1hr. Most of the time is spent trying to line up the hole near the headlight for mounting. The hoses are not thrown across the engine if you use some tie wraps like in my pic.
