Description:
NOT a Copolymer Knob. Made from the superior material Delrin. Wonderful feel to this material, never too hot or too cold. If you think the Sphere Knob is too weird then you may like this cylindrical design. Row your way through the gears with ease! Delrin is strong enough to not require a brass insert to be used, which coincidentally the knob is stronger without an insert, and it holds a thread very well too. This ultra simple design gives the best bang for the buck. Finish is polished for your viewing pleasure. Fits all 04-current STi

I have been looking to replace my factory knob for a long time now in my 2004 STi. I was browsing a Richmond VA meet thread over at nasioc and found out that "Chris" from Killer B Motorsport LLC was coming down with some products. Since Killer B is well known around iwsti for the improved oil pick up, I sent him a pm asking him if he would bring the cylinder shift knob with him.
Everyone met up at the location but due to local rice problems we had to move the meet to a unknown location, which was a better spot. After checking out some cars, a user by the name "Rippen Griffen" was trying to call "Chris" because he thought we lost him while driving to the new location. I informed "Rippen" that Chris was actually here and his black t-shirt says something like "I'm the Stig". After finding Chris we walked over to his car to check out the products. Rippen was looking at his awesome radiator shrouds which Chris had in his trunk. I asked Chris if he brought any shift knobs with him. At which time he let me sit in his car and feel the "Sphere" version that was mounted to his shifter.
After checking out the Sphere version I asked Chris if he brought any "Cylinder" style knobs with him. Chris handed me the Cylinder style and I checked out both of them. After a few seconds I looked at Chris, smiled and said I will take this one holding up the Cylinder version. After receiving the price amount, I drove to the ATM to pick up the money. Returned to the meet and now a proud owner of his Cylinder style shifter knob. I installed the knob there which didn't take long since both knobs screw on and off.
It started to get dark and the temps were dropping, so everyone was started to leave. I got into my drivers seat and grabbed the shifter, it felt so great. Left the location and pulled onto the main street. After pulling onto the main street I had a choice to make. One, take the interstate home or Two sit in rush hour traffic. Due to the knob feeling so great and smooth, I decided to sit in rush hour traffic . The intersate could have gotten me home in five minutes, but rush hour gave me a extra thirty minutes to hold the shift knob.
If your looking for a shift knob/quality products "Killer B Motorsport" is the way to go!!
