Pros: exent clamping force
Cons: puts much more stress on rest of drivetrain

I bought the ACT pro street clutch and matched it with a JUN lightwieght flywheel.
my 98 RS shifts MUCH more responsivly. the clutch engages MUCH faster then stock and there is no more "winding down" of the engine rpm's when you let off the clutch fast. It just engages PERIOD. But requires more muscle in the leg.

Pros: Very grabby and responsive
Cons: Greater peddle pressure required

The main reason I wanted a new clutch was to eliminate the shudder problem with the stock one. This clutch took care of that problem and made the car a lot better to drive. The clutch engages faster than stock which makes driving faster and more fun. When this clutch is set up with a light weight flywheel and a short shifter the cars driveability greatly increases.

Pros: Much stronger than stock
Cons: none

MUCH better than stock. Not as much burnt smell while driving around. Holds 100% better than stock under full accell. Wallet friendly.

Pros: Grabs Very early, Better shifts, Awsome Launches
Cons: Not beginner/chick friendly clutch

My act clutch on my 2.5RS was installed by the previous owner. It was a very menacing clutch for a beginner like myself, but now that I'm used to it I wouldn't trade it for anything. The clutch engages really quick and makes for great shifts and perfect for heel and toe. A definate must if you plan to turbo your RS.

Pros: WOW...grabby as hell, allows for really fast shifts.
Cons: traffic sucks!!!!

ALthough its a ***** in traffic, it is awesome every else, you can actually feel the clutch engaging which i think is a good thing and also allows for quick shifting.

Pros: Smooth engagement and long life
Cons: Heavy pedal feel in traffic, unless you\'re use to it

Love this clutch. Use to have a Dual Friction clutch (Brand shall remain a secret) and before that a stock unit. This is far superior to both. Great upgrade, especially w/ an upgraded flywheel.

Pros: grabs well
Cons: Tons of pedal effort and broken pressure plate in 25000 mi

So I could deal with the extra pedal effort because the engagement was nice.
However it squaked something aweful because the extra force wore out the teflon liner.

Then the pressure plate broke after 25000 mi on a NA 2.2 L
