The WRX Hybrid blow-off valve is a 'bolt-on' fit for ALL Subaru WRX, STi, and ALL turbo Impreza variants manufactured during or after 2001 (models including and after the GDA, aka "bugeye".
It doesn't require any adaptors, extras or modifications - just remove the factory BOV and bolt it on!
The WRX Hybrid is a design developed and proven by GFB. It can be configured in three venting modes using supplied parts.
1. Hybrid mode - 50% of the air is plumbed back, like a factory BOV, and 50% of the air is vented. This provides a great sound - but one that won't attract too much attention.
2. Vent-to-atmosphere mode - All of the air is vented to atmosphere for maximum noise. This configuration works sucessfully on the WRX without any drivability problems.
3. Full plumb back mode - Like the factory BOV, but with improved throttle response and the ability to hold higher boost levels.
