Description: It's easy to grab some oversized intercooler core, slap on some end tanks and call it a "high efficiency" intercooler. After all, it's not hard to improve upon the stock intercooler's flow-limited tube-and-fin design. However, making the best intercooler possible requires careful flow testing, thermal transfer analysis, computer-designed end-tanks, and so on. It took us some time to make it, but it's close to being finally available. Ultra-low pressure drop combined with extraordinarily high cooling efficiency. Resistant to heat soak and very quick to cool! Unlike other aftermarket intercoolers, this one seals perfectly with the STI intercooler duct. This translates to ultimate real-world cooling efficiency since no part of the intercooler core goes un-ducted and suffers from heatsoak. Compatible with aftermarket strut-braces.

Pros: Good quality
Cons: Installation, Price

Installation was a little of a pain. I have the Vishnu IC hoses as well, but the hoses didn't want to line up. You have to muscle everything in to get the hose around the turbo and the throttle body. Also, if you have the stock scoop splitter, the rubber piece will hit the top of the core and your hood won't close easily (should get STi scoop and splitter). I don't think there are any fitment problems with strut bars with this core, which is nice. Also, the quality of the core seems to be good and is a 'bar and plate' design that is more efficient then the stock 'tube and fin' design. I didn't notice anything with the performance of the car except that on a couple of hot days, I didn't notice a reduction in performance either. Also, it would be nice if the name 'Vishnu' wasn't painted in black bold letters on top of the core (just don't like being a rolling advertisement). Of course, I little block paint will get rid of that. Lastly, the core is a little expensive. It may be just better to get an STi intercooler.

Pros: Much better cooling, perfect seal to scoop
Cons: Vishnu ginat letters

Extra large TMIC with extra cooling capacity. Get the STi splitter and seal (along with the STi hood scoop) for maximum cooling. It's really nice that Vishnu thought out the design so that it would work with an existing splitter/seal.

As I've said many times, the largest IC in the world is worthless without a good seal to the hood scoop.

Installation was as simple as installing the stock IC. Samco or stock hoses fit perfectly. No issues with my Worx BOV either.
