Bigger than the USDM STI intercooler. Direct bolt-on to USDM WRX. Standard equipment on JDM 2.0L STI.

Pros:
Direct bolt-on, no modification, factory quality
Cons:
None
Got it in a trade. Had it installed within 20-minutes. Physically bigger than the factory WRX version. Car feels a little stronger, even with the standard TD04. Stepping stone to my VF34 or VF39 upgrade later on.

Do you know if the STI intercooler will fit a Forester XT?

Pros:
I could feel a change once I installed the STi intercooler
Cons:
had to get a new y-pipe for the 06
A huge difference than the 06WRX intercooler. Only bad thing is the y-pipe is a little short due to the smaller turbo in the WRX. Overall great upgrade.
Love the STi lettering also.

Pros:
Mid range pull, easy install.
Cons:
Y-pipe being too short?!! ahh that's why it won't bolt to the wrx brackets. I just connected everything down and left the TMIC resting on top of the mounting brackets, it dosen't really move anywhere and hasn't give me issuses.
More mid range response after install in my 04 wrx. engine temp gage needle seems to be a notch lower (maybe imagination). I like it!
