What wheels to go with and color! Opinions please!

im looking into purchasing a set of wheels with the tax return coming in. im not looking to break the bank since some of the money needs to go towards bills.

this is what i am looking for:
5x100
18's
preferably 8.5" or 9" wide! will consider 8's but not a huge fan!
need to clear brembo's
want a nice offset that will flush out the car a bit!

i really dont know what style i am looking for but i like the look of the Rota Grids!

also what color should i go with?
i have an 05 JBP paint job on an 04 wrx
so its got the gold and green metallic paint flake in it instead of the blue and green.
i was thinking like a gold or maybe white rim idk though!!!

my theme of my car is black and pink!
another thing to keep in mind is i might go with rally armour red mud flaps...
maybe your opinions on those as well...

PICS WILL MAKE THIS THREAD!
thanks,
Trevor

The answer seems obvious to me. If you like a wheel, you should go with that wheel. See how simple that was?

IMO, the Rota Grid looks best in 18x9.5 +35, but I am sure steezy, or many others on here could help you find an 18x9 with an offset that would give you the look you want, and fit your WRX (with the necessary suspension). As far as color, again obvious, Hyper Black all the way.

ya see i dont want to go coilovers for a while and that is my problem... dont have the money for coilovers! and well i highly doubt a 9.5 is going to fit underneath my car with struts and springs!

you should wait on wheels until you get suspension then. any aggressive offset wheel in a 8.5-9 will need some work.

ok... so im looking into it but i very possibly might get my coilovers rebuilt and then i can run coilovers!!!

but if that is the case what about 18x9.5? would i have a fitment problem there if i rolled and pulled my fenders? i just dont see a point paying 900 for a set of rims when for 50 more i can get them an inch wider and look hella nice!

Update: I have narrowed my color selection down to gold or white!

18x10 +30 rota SVN - Gunmetal

In my opinion the grids look best in hyper black but if youre set on gold or bronze i would go with bronze

I guess seeing it in person really helped you to decide, huh?

How are those front coilovers treating you?
