treadwear

i know that most if not all tires come with a tread wear i know my tires have a tread wear of 340 could someone explain this mabye eplain more vs less best being and worst being.? thanks

This question is not easily answered. LOTS of research will tell you lots about treadwear and tier ratings.
Contrary to popular belief is that it is a government rating...it is NOT.

In general terms, the higher the number the longer the tire will last.
