Oil?

I have a 03 wrx 2.0turbo with 4k on the motor. I've been told Mobil 1 breaks down to quickly I was just wondering what kind of full synthetic I should run? At the moment I have valvoline vR1 non synthetic oil finishing up the break in period. Thanks!
