Best sounding exhausts?
#16
being that you have a 2011 half of these exhausts that people are recommending for your car do not exist.
if you want a subtle exhaust at idle but loud enough when you get on it there is only one exhaust to look at: Milltek
Actually wait do you have a hatch? if so you better research like crazy because there are a lot of exhausts that will have a drone

Exhaust preference varies. I like a stealthy look, subtle tone at idle and low RPM and for it to open up and sound mean as all hell when I get into it and go WOT. Others like my friend Chase want it to be loud the minute the car starts up and gets louder as you step on the volume i mean gas pedal. Like suggested check youtube out (look for quality videos) and really go to some meets and ask people if they would mind starting their car so you can hear their exhaust.

Pretty much, your options are:
Cobb, Invidia, Megan, Tsudo, TurboXS, CNT, SPT, Nameless, Greddy, Perrin, OBX,and Magnaflow.
I'm sure I left out a few, but these are the ones that come to mind. IMO, the popular/common exhaust are the q300 (which I previously had), spt, and nameless. BTW, that's for hatchback.

This is such an opened ended answer...
Everyone has their certain taste in how an exhaust sounds; Throaty, deep, mellow, quiet, loud, etc. So its hard to say what the so called "best" is.
IMO the best thing to do is go to meets and find who has what exhaust and hear it for yourself in person.

Car Info: 02 subaru impreza WRX wagon sedona red
on my 02 bugeye wagon..helix catted dp & BPM GT exhaust....beastly deep and throaty tune...had nothing but compliments (except from the wife) and not just Subaru owners...
here's what mind sounds exactly like:
on long highway drives from Bay Area to SoCAL can get pretty loud (not droning) ..ears will be buzzing after 5 hrs in the car thus I have a silencer I install before the trek....like night and day.
