Performance Racing Industry 2007
Back in Orlando, FL for 2007, PRI brings out the latest the racing industry has to offer from drag racing to formula cars and machinery to tuner products. Much like the better know SEMA show, PRI is an industry only trade show leaving the public out in the proverbial cold waiting for show coverage. With products for the serious race teams down to privateers and shops, we choose to focus on the tuner and weekend warrior components of the show. Although imports form a smaller percentage of this particular trade show, we were able to find a nice collection of relevant parts and goodies.
Prodrive Sparco Racing seat; A perfect addition to you Subaru. And for your other cars, Sparco showed off several new steering wheel and seat options
The AMS drag Evo was on hand in the Tial booth. Tial revealed their new highly demanded recirculation blow of valve.
CCW brought out numerous new wheel designs purchased from the discontinued but very popular designs from Kinesis. Glad to see these designs will still be available and in custom sizing no less.

Numerous world famous race cars were on display such as the Porsche and Mazda LMP cars from the American Le Mans series

Skip Barber and Mazda displayed the finished race school MX-5 Miata that they announced at last year’s PRI

Forgeline displayed their mouth watering lightweight custom wheel lines with a few couple new additions and a variety of new options and finishes
This new system from Hotlap Motorsports is the first inexpensive live tire temp monitor. A handy tool for everyone from the weekend track day participant to more serious club racers

HKS made a very rare and anticipated US showing with their all carbon time attack Evo. Currently the record holder by a good margin in its first attempt at Button Willow Raceway.

Also in the HKS booth was the Formula D Pontiac Solstice of Rhys Millen

New from Alpinestars is their new GP1 entry level 2 piece racing suit also available in true female fitment complete with pink trim.

For the driver look for a little style in his driving, Piloti has brought out several new shoes including these leather ones available in three colors

For the more serious track goes, ANZE Engineering will custom make suspension for any car using the highest quality Penske Components

Vintage turbo indy car anyone?

Numerous spec racer manufacturers were on hand. This set itself apart by featuring a high revving potent Honda powerplant unlike the typical the more typical motor cycle engines

Setrab displayed a new prepackaged cooler setup that featured modular mounts and perfect fit fan systems all in multiple sizes.

If you are serious about rally, then you need to be serious about suspension. Ohlin offered up these new high end rally specific Coilovers for the Lancer Evolution and Impreza STI

A fake, but nevertheless cool early Datsun GT-R
HJC brought out a variety of automotive helmets this year including their blingy all carbon units
And if you are going to get an all carbon helmet, why not have an Exige or M6 to match
Need a replacement strengthened driveshaft for your R33 GTR? The Driveshaft Shop has something for everyone
Tomei had an incredible display for Subaru lovers, which included their Genesis crate engine and new individual throttle body setup. Don’t get too excited yet though as that ITB setup is expected to be in the $6k range

TWM had a revolutionary new throttle body design with a rotating tunnel. At WOT there is absolutely no restrictions or throttle doors in the way
Cosworth has something new every year and this year they had many including their new baffles for Subaru oil pans, and their MX-5 supercharger.
