Sucks,

but my Forester 2.5XT is totaled out by insurance, and the electrical system is dead so I can't pull the programming off of the ECU.
So, anyone looking to get the APV2, you can take this and send it in as a $200 coupon.

I do plan on getting a new Subi, but it probably won't be a turbo, so saving this for myself is kind of pointless.

Ask the shop for a jumper box and unmarry the AP. If not, I'll trade you my FXT ECU and pick up your AP.

All body shops have jumper box to jump start vehicles with broken battery connections. It should be no problem since they are there to help with situation and you do have rights to access your vehicle before it's towed to insurance auction yard.
