Easiest way to deal with this perceived "problem"?

Use the "Move Thread" function, and leave NO redirects...

When the inevitable thread comes up "Where'd my post go?", you simply respond, "Do a search noob", and lock the thread.

or they realize the redirect is there for a reason, to tell them that the following section is the correct section, and they should then begin to do so for future threads.

Sure wasn't in the past

Things change, and this is good for this site. Put things where they belong. It's simple, just do it.

But what about the constant thread jacking and member attacking that goes on in the BAIC without ANY kind of moderation?

You guys need to moderate these people when they are outta line, friend or not.

When I posted up my power numbers it got moved to vendor reviews....I was NOT posting that thread up to review a vendor, it was to show my fellow Northern California i-clubbers what power I was making, so if they see me on the street in person they can know that it is my car etc/compare numbers with the people around me.

But it was instantly moved

This one? https://www.i-club.com/forums/vendor-tuning-service-parts-review-152/more-power-after-ed-tuned-subie-168133/

Sounds like even Ed thought it was a review.

You do realize that you are one of "these people", right?

For the regional forums, I tend to let the local mods handle their own stuff. But even I am getting sick and tired of the constant reported posts from both sides of that particular argument. If it doesn't stop, I will moderate it and it will be across the board. I don't give a crap about who started what and who called who fat. You're all acting like children.

Then you can switch from complaining about the lack of moderation to calling us all *****.
