dont give me the whole search thing i read them all and it just doesnt seem to apply....i have prodrive springs on stock struts and tires/rims, and for some reason whenever i go over a bumpy road the tire/rims/suspension makes this god awful rattling/thumping noise, very similar to when you get a flat tire, but on a normal road is smooth as silk, and i dont think it has anything to do with the brake rotors cuz braking doesnt come with wobbling, the wheels are on tight, the springs seem seated, and the tires are at the proper pressure, and i dont think its the struts cuz thiers no discharge or noises under normal driving conditions....any ideas? is it just the crappy re 92s? any suggestions are appreciated, this is really really annoying!!
Have you checked tire rub? Also did you make sure your orientation is 100% correct? (ie OUT is facing out) What year do you have -- you didn't put 02-03 springs in your 04 without strut tops? I'm just tossing ideas out, if you can figure out what's causing it worst case you'll end up taking it all out and reinstalling.
if it is coming from the rear, i have a solution that i gave another i-club member couple of months ago. its not your suspension it your jack and little goodie bag. Occiansionly since our car is very cheaply made, go in the trunk and check the jack to see if it loose. Tighten it back up and make sure the little goodie bag is secure somewhere. Then go for a drive, if it is solved then kudos to you. If not i am sorry. happy searching. I always tighten the jack every so once in a while.
honestly im hoping its just the crappy tires the car came with..and i already tried the jack thing lol....its definitely either the tires or something...
