RS struts on OBS?

A guy at Tirerack told me that the struts for a 98/99 RS would not fit on a 98 Outback sport. I was thinking that it might just be a different compression rate (or whatever) to make up for the difference in weight (with same fittings). Does anyone know anything about this?

The difference in the rears is just a different dampening rate, correct? To make up for the extra weight in the wagon?

Is this the reason why people end up with the 'saggy rear' look on wagons.. that is, they put sedan struts on a wagon?

So... I can go with AGX's up front and GR2's in the rear, is that going to work okay? Or should I just go w/ 4 GR2s?
