Recomend Me Some Rubber
Recommend me some tires yo
This is an area I've dabbled little in, so humor any ignorance kindly.
Car: 2004 WRX sedan, hit 130K the other day. Daily driver, probably less daily soon though as I'm picking up another car for commuting.
Current setup:
Wheels: 16x6.5 stockers
Offset: +53mm
Struts: Stock
Springs: Swift Sport Machs
Picked up some Volk LE37s today...
Wheels: 18x7.5
Offset: +48mm (within the 5mm rule of thumb)
Struts: Getting Koni yellows soon
Springs: Swift Sport Machs (same as previous)
Budget: <$200 ea.
Pretty long life preferred, inasmuch as if there's a compromise to be made between performance and wear, I'll take better wearing.
Don't want rubbing or to bother with fender rolling.
Roads driven are mostly city streets, some winding mountain stuff, no snow.
When I track I'll see about that when I get to it, so just leave it out of equations for the time being.
One-and-done solutions preferred, ie: good all season tires. The rain is coming soon, but is rarely torrential.
If it matters I have some other suspension mods, including lots of poly bushings and perhaps most notably caster-adjusting ALKs and reinforced mounts and endlinks with my 24mm front and rear sways.
Atop the Koni's, I'm also fixing to get all new bump stops , Koni strut extenders for the fronts, Group-N top hats for the rear and Whiteline KCA335s camber/caster adjusting toppy hattys for the front.

Sorry misread it on my phone . Don't i-Club and mobile it seems, and thanks for the feedback. I've heard good things about both the Continentals and Hankooks too, least now I've something to work with.

if you truly dont want something for mountain driving/trackday/auto x and it is soley for DD then go with the Continental or the Hankooks. If not you cant beat the PSSs
