Lowering 98 Impreza Outback Sport

I'm going to be lowering my outback once spring time comes around and wanted to see if anyone with any outback had lowered their car with Progess Springs or H&R springs and wondered if anyone have problems with struts cracking or anything of that sort. Thanks.

I am about to put my suspension stuff in my 93 wagon. I would say the H&R's are quite a drop. Are you going to replace the struts?? Don't know much on the Progress, but I read they are pretty decent for the price. Are you going to have stock wheels/tires or something bigger?

This is what I have done to my MY00 OBS:

Wheels: Prodrive P7s in Gold with 215/45R17 Bridgestone S03PPs

Suspension: STi Version 5 Wagon Struts, springs and top mounts; STi Front Carbon Fiber strut tower bar and rear wagon strut tower bar; 20mm rear swaybar.

This setup dropped my car about 20mm from the stock height. A noticable stiffness is felt and obviously much much better handling.
