i regret not going to moran raceway more. it was fun and scary as hell just lifting to enter turn 1, i'd always take a huge breath and hope i didn't die entering every lap . also understeering out the long sweeper when your tires were cold at speed was also scary as ****.

going to moran is not going to make you a better driver either..
you have to understanding how your car drives.
You are still trying to drive the rx8 like the wrx and diving bombing into the turn with brakes locked up is bad juju.
I learned alot on the 2nd session following franco on how to drive the miata.

half true

karting gets you into that control state of mind where your concentration is at its finest.

I concur stop driving your RX8 like a WRX. The car handles fine.

I dont think Ed realizes the dynamics of a rwd car yet. Karting is great for practicing steering/throttle control as well getting your mind focused.
