The STI I bought still has the stock, BOV and was wondering what would be the best type of BOV? Thank you.

Honestly your stock BOV is great if your not planning to run high amounts of boost. If you do go aftermarket, you would want to stay with a recirculating BOV to prevent rich conditions and to also prevent back firing in between shifts.

Not to be a dick, but whenever I see a new member joining and asking this, the first thing I think is... is he for real? first mod is a bov? The least you could do is post what mods are already on the car.

There's nothing modded at all yet. My first mod will be a Cobb intake, but other than that I'm not sure where to go from there. I'm new to it all so all feedback would be welcomed.

Do not put an Cobb Intake without buying an Accessport and tuning your car for it. As for the BOV, if its a dire must for you, Turbonetics is one of the better brands, however I highly recommend your factory BPV

Don't buy any bov...and you don't need a tune for an intake.

Was my first mod back in 07 with my 04 WRX. Sold the car couple months ago nearing 500whp. New people to the game just don't know that its bad for our cars. So no reason to be aggravated.

Our cars have a BPV stock, and that is good enough until you are wanting to push more boost.

Haters gunna hate.

Lots of people do it for the sound, and don't understand what it really is meant for.

You can crush the stock bpv to hold a good amount of power
