I just went to Becker Subaru in Allentown, PA and they offered me... 23748 (which is invoice - 750 rebate) for a new 04 WRX with just a premium package only (Blue ... 5 speed).
Is this a good deal? Should I even ask them to go lower? I know it's invoice but I know I could ask for more off (I used to sell Acuras so I know they have dealer holdback but I dunno how much.)?
Yeah, at the end of the model year there are all kinds of incentives and dealer cash deals that we don't even know about.. invoice is good at the middle of the year, but at the end I would think you can do better... watchout on the trade in, though.. if you get screwed there, you're back where you started. Don't go by Kelley Blue Book. Go online or onto dealer lots and see what they're selling for and then start bargaining from there. That's my .02. Good luck!! You're gonna get a great car, dude!
Originally posted by jeffemp There is a little more room. $500 dealer cash and about $700 dealer cash. If you come to me I will sell one to you for 1250 below invoice, I keep the dealer cash.

Hey ... Pittsburgh = 4 hours away. but for an extra 1250 off a car... I'm down. But I got a trade in. 2003 GTI 1.8T.
Yeah ... I want 16,500 for it. But I owe 18,700. It'll never be the track car I want it to be and I plan to put 2k down to offset the inequity, so I consider it worth it to get the car I actually want.
If it doesnt work out I'm gonna sell it then either get a WRX or get a 240SX and do a Silvia conversion. (Or an RB25DET conversion )
