Unhappy Fluid leak ?

Ok here is the scenario, I had some tunning and FMIC adjustments made at my tunners shop. I drove my car home and I could smell antifreeze. I didn't think to much of it as lines are taken off and put on at times. It should be noted that I don't drive the car much once a week 8 to 10 miles or so. Anyway one night I took the car out and turned on the heater. The anitfreeze was so strong that it made my eyes water. I took the car back to the shop they could smell the antifreeze they checked for a leak but was able to find one. I took the car to the dealer and they cold smell the antifreeze but could not find the leak even after the pressure test. Is there any place where antifreeze could settle on top of the engine in a crevice or somthing. thanks

Tunning?

Before we begin, what kind of tunning was performed? What model and year is your car?

I've seen coolant collect on the underbody protections plates. I did a rebuild on an old truck, and I had the smell for a week, but what I finally did was drove the truck over some bumpy roads and what not to get all the coolant and oil that was in all those tiny collection areas. Hope that helps.

J I had the car on a dyno run check boost and on of the FMIC hoses blew off it was attached and tested again. It was given back to me and on my why home I smelled antifreeze. I took the car back it was check and there was no leak. So maybe it was antifreeze that was just spilled into a cravice somewhere. Now the question is how do I get it out "Subaru STi 04" Eucteked

If you don't drive too often there might be some spilled coolant on the engine block. When the motor heats up you will smell that burning coolant smell. It should only last a little while though.

Cool. I hit a bird yesterday, and now I'm trying to drive off the smell.
