Added Security plan

Is it worth it to purchase the Subaru Added Security plan?
What are your opinions?
My basic warranty is going to run out this summer and I'm debating whether to purchase this extended warranty for another 3 years.
I have onlu 12,000 miles on my STI 2004.

Thanks.

It depends on how hardcore you are going to go with mods. For me I know it's gonna be basic mods and wheels/suspension, so I went with the biggest warranty. Plus I plan to keep this car for a long time.

It doesn't seem like you drive your car very much/often. The Added Security Plan probably wouldn't be worth the money to you if you don't plan on driving the car very far/often.

Under most circumstances these warranties never pay for themselves anyway. You pay $1,000+ for these warranties, and then you still normally have a deductible of either $50 or $100.

As A Service Adviser For Subaru I Do Highly Recomend The Added Security Gold Plus Policy You Can Pick A Deductable 0 $50.00 Or $100.00
With Your Driving Habits You May Want The 7 Year 100k Warenty It Comes With Tire Hazard Also You Have A Choice Of 5,6,or 7 Years And 100k See How Much You Drive A Year And Figure It Out Whats Best For You
I Dont Recomened The Clasic Coverage It Covers A Lot Less Parts Than The Gold I Hope Its Helpfull

How much does the Added Security Plan cost with the $50 deductible? Subarus are pretty reliable. I'd just be wary that it would be good money out the window.....
