Open the hood, stand in front of the car, to the right of the intercooler you will see a black or silver container with two tubes goin into the top.. its about the size of a toilet paper roll thats been half used.

hey u know in the scooby mods pics, i have a question not really relateing, but i have a problem. the cap on the windshield fluid reserve keeps coming loose, any suggestions?, i swear fluid is all over my engine

I had the same problem; what i used was a thin piece of modeling clay around the inside edge of the cap; then put the cap on.. quite easy and it stays on.. + modeling clay, at least the stuff i use, tends to harden a little and it really isnt a pain to take off the cap, nor does the clay get into the resevoir.

This is a valid thread, so I am adding my $.02 for the MY02 I just installed one of these into. It wasn't fun. It fits perfectly, but I had to get a MY07 inline filter and delete the canister to get everything OK as far as fitment of the components surrounding it.
I recommend the same for anyone with an 02-03 WRX. It saves massive headaches.
I tune my own AF, so I am not sure how this might affect anyone on a stock tune.
