Winter is upon us and the snow is falling. Get yourself some nice practical snow wheels for the season. I have for sale a set of rare 2000-2001 Impreza 2.5 RS six-spoke wheels with BF Goodrich Winter Slalom studded snow tires.
- 16 x 7 inch, 53 offset (to fit 225 width tires properly without rubbing. stock 02-05 WRX is 16 x 6.5")
- 5 x 100 bolt pattern
- From 2000/2001 model year Impreza 2.5rs
- Fits over 4-POT brakes (fits all Imprezas and WRX including 06/07, and 22b)
These are studded snow tires with alot of tread left, 6mm to be exact, which comes out to about 8/32-inch, which is what a lot of other tires come with brand new, so that tells you they haven't been used all that much. The studs are a life saver on the ice, and they are only a few millimeters in diameter, so they are small and you can't hear them when driving around dry streets. My next set of snow tires will definitely have studs because of the enhanced performance, safety, and peace of mind we all deserve on icy roads. I just want to go 17's winter and summer (got wheels for Christmas). Everyone in Tahoe uses studded snow tires so they must be somewhat good . There is some normal curbing here and there, but they are in great shape and make a bombproof set of snow wheels or extra wheels in general. Brand new snow tires that are as good as these BFG's will cost you $600 (for tires only), PLUS you get the ultra rare 6-spokes to go along with it, so this isn't a bad deal. Lemme know if you are interested in viewing them in person, I have them in my wagon ready to go. I work 9-5 in Berkeley and live in SF (pacific heights area).
