I think flashing a deuce is the universal way. And I otherwise give thumbs up to cool, non-Subaru cars.

I was wondering about this too. I have an STI and only get waves from other STIs.

This is just first impressions tho. I'm super new to my car.

Guy in a modded WRX looked right at me today and kept going. Lol. Maybe he wanted me to wave first? Idk...

A lot of people wait for a deuce because there are more and more wrx /sti owners that never wave back, just have to judge it lol if they see me I'll throw out a wave. If they don't even look over then it is what it is

Back in 04 when i got my first wrx. It was a much smaller community. Most would wave, give peace signs or flash fog lights at one another.

I do the wave. Now that there are more and more wrx/sti cars around I tend to look for at least one mod on the car (and the driver) before tossing the deuce's.
