Morettes or V7 HIDs...bugeye
What head lights would you go with ?
Morettes or JDM V7 HIDs?
currently:
02 WRX wagon in SRP
Morettes
V7 sedan fenders
V7 hood scoop
OEM sedan bumper
OEM wagon grill
OEM hood
but I just picked up an entire JDM V7 WAGON front end (minus hood/scoop) which includes:
V7 grill
V7 fenders
V7 front bumper
V7 rear bumper
V7 side skirts
HID headlights
Would you use the HIDs or Morettes? why?
Thanks

Performance-wise you already have the better headlights, unless you modify the JDM's.
JDM's, whether HID or halogen, have an RHD beam pattern which is incorrect for North American roads and will direct light up to the left into oncoming traffic. This can be fixed only by opening the lights and either modifying the internal cutoff shield or retrofitting complete US-spec projector assemblies. The second option will give the best results, there are vendors who will do the work for you if you don't want to do it yourself.

I've had both. Morettes look better.

thanks for the feedback!
I picked up my 02 used in 04...the reason I went for the bugeye is because I saw another with Morettes..and I HAD to have them. They're just the most aggressive looking lights around for the bugeye....
but just bouncing around on the JDMs...do I want to go aggressive and better looking or authentic JDM.
I know I'll keep the Morettes..the day I get rid of them is the day I get rid of my wrx. It took me 5+ yrs to find the Morettes!
