I have a 2003 WRX that has a turbo back to 3 in straight pipe. No cat or muffler. Sometimes it backfires a lot. Is it because it's catless? Or is it something else?

Lol ^

Being catless and having no muffler make it pop a lot...
If you get a catted downpipe, you should have less issues...

Car Info: 2014 World Rally Blue, WRX.
I have a nameless muffler delete with the rest of the exhaust stock, and it does it a lot.
