adding Sirius tuner to stock 6 disc "sirius ready" deck
I have a new 07 Impreza with the 6 cd changing clarion deck, and i bought the clarion sirius tuner "SIR-CL3" (image http://www.rocktheboataudio.com/photos/32315b.jpg )
i plugged it in no problem and it auto tuned to 184, which is the weather/traffic free channel which tells you to subscribe, which i did.
called sirius a few times and had the signal sent over 6 times, but the deck will not change the channel at all. it just stays on 184. i pused all the buttons, 1-6, up down, next station ****, and it won't change to anything. i can hear the audio from this one channel, and i even drove around while they re-sent the signals, so i know i'm in good range for signal.
is this the correct tuner for the clarion decks?
the sirius website doesn't even have this $99 SIR-CL3 listed. they have the $49 CL1 but you cannot add it to the cart to buy it.
or maybe the deck just doesn't work correctly and i should warranty it?
thanks all
