here is what was up with my connect last night.
Download speed 817 Kbps (socket test) Time warner says it's a 6mbps connection
Upload speed 443 Kbps (socket test)
Quality of service 6 %
Maximum delay 228 ms
Round trip time 175 ms
Upstream jitter 1.8 ms
Upstream packet loss 0 %
Upstream packet order - %
Upstream discards - %
Downstream was so slow that my game was pausing from the lag whenever jerry used the flamethrower

Cuz they service use to be crap and go down for hours almost once or twice a month.
They gave me a month for free.
DSL is good if you live near the center station
DSL is carry by copper telephone line. Farther you are from the station, the weaker the signal = crappy connection)
They don't even offer DSL in my area cuz i'm too far from the station (pomona)
Franco's house has good connection cuz he's really close to the verison DSL main station.
Cable sux if there are too many people using the connection because the bandwidth is shared within the community.
Fiber optic is best.. FIOS not available in my area.
