Subaru mechanic near hermosa?
Hey guys moved down to hermosa beach from NorCal and I'm without a mechanic now. Being in an apartment means no major work :-(
Not sure what it is, gotta take a closer look.. But either it's my axle cv boot or my steering rack boot that has come off on my 99 forester and is spilling grease on my headers causing smoking and bad smells..
Is there someone who does work out of their garage that wants to make some money or a nearby mechanic that can help fix this? One that isn't outrageously priced like a dealership?
Thanks for any help!

Also it doesn't necessarily have to be IN or directly near Hermosa... That is more of a "for the future work" thing. As far as this current issue goes I'm willing to drive!
I prefer someone with a garage who is capable, for this repair because that usually means faster turn around, and the ability for me to pay em, provide beer and pizza. haha.

sigma I got it fixed! Thanks...
I went to raffia subaru on rosecrans in lawndale.. guy only charged me $35 for putting it up on the lift, figuring out the return line for the transmission got knocked loose by the knuckle joint on the steering shaft rubbing against the hose.. tightening it.. cleaning out the undercarriage of tranny fluid, and adding fluid to the tranny.
Incredibly nice guy.. even showed me how to change my knock sensor so I don't have to pay for it. I'll be going back to him.
